Do I have to do the course in order?

No! Although the course has been designed with a natural learning path in mind, if you find yourself unable to do certain parts at that time or want to start your learning on later course modules and come back to the earlier ones that’s absolutely fine.

How is the course assessed?

The course is assessed in 3 modes.

1. Multiple choice questionnaires

2. Short video uploads to show practical skills

3. Wrtitten case study assessments

What if I fail an assessment?

All assessments can be resubmitted 3x. The multiple choice questions will tell you which answers need revising; case study assessments and practical assessments you will recieve written feedback with improvements that need to be made.

What do I need in order to complete the course?

You will need a google login, a device to record on such as a phone, ipad or camera, a few light touch tools (4-7). It may also be helpful to have a tripod to hand if you don’t have someone who can help by holding your recording device. You will also need a comfortable space for your practice clients to lie or sit on - it does not need to be a professional treatment bed at this stage.

What are the next steps following completion of the course?

Once you have passed each of the necessary assessments you will recieve your Light touch and ASMR Practitioner Training Certificate. You can then get insurance from a number of training providers such as Westminster Holistic insurance Broker or Balens under ‘Light touch therapy’ or ‘Sensory Therapy’ depending on your focus. From there, you are ready to start taking on clients!

Can you give feedback that is not written?

Yes, I completely understand that not everyone learns in the same way and if you find yourself having to re-do an assessment, you want to know that your next submission will be passed! For this reason, if you would prefer to, we can arrange a quick zoom or teams call to discuss the assessment and what needs to be done to improve it.

What shall I do if I notice an issue during the course, like a link not working or a resource that I feel would be really helpful?

Please email asmrwarwickshire@outlook.com and provide details of your suggested improvements. Creating a course which is truly accessible, and provides all of the information you need to start a practicing in ASMR and Light Touch is incredibly important to me; I would love to hear of any improvements and be given the chance to act on these to give all students the best possible experience.

I still have questions, what shall I do?

No problem! For further information please email Lily at asmrwarwickshire@outlook.com.
